What is it and who can fly a tandem paraglider?
Flying paragliding is an outdoor sporting activity, suitable for all those people who have the desire to experience emotions, adrenaline and that sense of freedom that only flight can give. Flying a tandem paraglider means that you fly together with the pilot (passenger plus pilot) and not two people plus the pilot.
What are the requirements for flying a tandem paraglider?
The only requirement is to be in a state of good health that allows us to face a short run necessary to take off.
Are there any limitations?
Yes, this activity is not recommended for those suffering from heart disease. The minimum weight of passengers must be 20 kg and the maximum weight must be 110 kg.
Can minors carry out the activity?
Yes, all minors weighing more than 20 kg and who are authorized by both parents or guardians can carry out the activity.
Can disabled people carry out the activity?
Yes, by communicating and organizing in time it is also possible to fly disabled people.
What clothing do I need?
We recommend comfortable clothing according to the time of year, sunglasses and we recommend the use of sneakers, trekking shoes or even better boots.
When can you fly?
You can fly all year round, every day and in any season, weather permitting.
What is included in the tandem paragliding flight?
In the tandem paragliding flight is included transport from the meeting point to the take-off point, harness and helmet equipment, accompaniment, photos and videos taken with a GoPro camera (they can be in addition to the flight only) and the diploma of baptism of flight.
How long does the flight take?
The duration of the flight depends on the type of flight chosen and the weather conditions, it can last from 10 to 30 minutes. The paraglider is without an engine and we cannot guarantee a precise service life. On average, on a normal day, the flight lasts 20 minutes.
What happens in case of bad weather?
The day before the agreed date, we are in touch to confirm or not the tandem paragliding flight activity, a decision that will be taken after a careful evaluation of the weather forecast. We do not fly on rainy days, snowfall and very strong winds. In case of bad weather, the flight will be postponed to another date.
Can I bring my phone and bag?
All personal items such as a phone, wallet, keys, fanny pack or small handbag, will be placed in a secure pocket in the harness before the flight.
If I feel dizzy, can I still fly?
Yes, flying a tandem paraglider you are on the move and for this reason you do not feel any sensation of vertigo even when you look downwards.
